Significant progress has been done since the last hands-on session in January 2012. This new ''Hands On'' session was the opportunity to answer to all the questions about the usage of CompatibleOne. During these sessions, attendees were able to manipulate CompatibleOne platform with the help and support of the CompatibleOne developers themselves. And naturally these sessions were interactive and took place in real conditions i.e. in the cloud.

Billy Cox is director in INTEL Software Services Group and responsible for Cloud Builders, who outlined how the Cloud Builders program is providing service providers and corporate IT teams with guidance on how to build and use their own unique clouds. Intel’s Cloud Builders program provides reference architectures in the key areas such as power management, security, and ‘on-boarding’ (securely migrating apps and content from private systems up to the cloud). End user customers are encouraged to use these reference architectures as the basis for their cloud designs or simply as a way to get a view into how the various software and hardware solutions operate.
